The Sany 485 excavator is built for the toughest mining jobs. It weighs 48,500 kg and packs a powerful punch. Under the hood is the Isuzu 6WG1 direct-injection engine, a six-cylinder, four-stroke turbocharged, intercooled, and water-cooled powerhouse. With a displacement of 15.681 liters and a rated power of 310 kW, this beast has plenty of torque and stable performance. Whether it’s dealing with extremely hard rock or large-scale earthwork, it can handle it with ease.
The hydraulic system uses the classic KMX32NA multi-port valve, paired with the new ACE control system. It uses semi-electric control boom technology to effectively reduce back pressure during excavation, reduce pressure loss, and enhance excavation force. This configuration makes the entire machine easier to control, better coordinated in each action, and even helps save fuel.
The Sany 485 has a lot of advantages in design. It comes standard with a 2.6 cubic meter large bucket, and you can also choose a 3.1 cubic meter extra large bucket or a 200 mm breaker. In addition, it offers four different bucket series, allowing you to easily find the right tool. This configuration greatly improves construction efficiency.
The boom and dipper use 20,000 hours of working device technology, and its reliability have be fully verified after rigorous testing. The newly upgraded C12 cab is designed with full consideration of the five key functions of “intelligent networking, intelligent interaction, intelligent construction, intelligent driving, and intelligent maintenance”. Compared with the previous generation, its width has increased by 25 mm, the front window width has increased by 10%, and the total glass area has also increased by 10%, providing you with a wider field of view.
The improved sealing structure can effectively prevent dust from entering the cab even in harsh working conditions. The thermal comfort is more than 15% higher than the previous generation, equipped with a large smart screen, and upgraded air conditioning, making the operating experience more comfortable and convenient.
